MPs propose measures to combat high energy prices and living costs
Hans Andreas Limi, Sylvi Listhaug, Tom Staahle, Hilde Grande, and Martin Virkesdal Jonsterhaug have tabled a proposal containing several measures to ease the burden of rising energy prices and living costs. The proposers argue that the conflict in the Middle East has increased uncertainty in energy markets and driven international energy prices sharply higher, hitting households dependent on transport, rural communities, and Norwegian businesses particularly hard. They put forward four concrete proposals to reduce the financial strain.
