Impose verifiable age 18 limit for online pornography
MPs Jorunn Gleditsch Lossius, Hans Edvard Askjer and Joel Ystebø propose introducing a verifiable age limit of 18 for pornographic websites. The proposers argue that over half of 13–18 year-olds have viewed pornography online, contending that it can give young people an unrealistic view of sex and may alter sexual behaviour. They point to Britain's adoption of similar rules requiring pornography companies to verify age, which they say has reduced overall use of pornographic sites by a third.
