MPs push to preserve Innovation Norway's regional office network
Three MPs—Geir Pollestad, Erling Sande, and Bent-Joacim Bentzen—have tabled a proposal to prevent Innovation Norway from centralizing its operations. They argue that the agency has announced plans to cut 100–110 jobs and close or scale back regional offices, including the Growth and Startup Centre in Førde and operations in Bodø. The proposers contend that necessary savings should come from administrative efficiency, not from dismantling regional presence and expertise.
