Call for review committee on prostitution laws
Four MPs — Ingrid Liland, Marius Langballe Dalin, Une Bastholm, and Julie E. Stuestøl — are asking the government to establish a public commission. The proposers argue that the penal code's provisions on purchasing sexual services and pimping have unintended negative consequences for sex workers, including loss of banking access, unsafe housing, and lack of legal protection.
