About this bill
Ten measures to prevent and combat rape
Five MPs propose ten measures against rape. The proposers argue that rape is a widespread social problem in Norway, and that the Rape Commission concluded that authorities have failed to prevent or combat it. The proposal builds on recommendations from the Rape Commission's inquiry and aims to ensure better prevention, protection for vulnerable people, and implementation of legal changes made in spring 2025.
