MPs urge government to dismantle aquaculture pricing board
MPs Bård Ludvig Thorheim, Ove Trellevik, and Mari Holm Lønseth have tabled a proposal to shut down the Aquaculture Pricing Board. The proposers argue that the scheme fails to work effectively and imposes heavy reporting requirements. They contend instead that aquaculture tax should be based on actual market prices under the same principles as corporate income tax, using standard transfer pricing rules.
