About this bill
National action plan to combat homelessness among families with children
Four MPs—Jorunn Gleditsch Lossius, Ida Lindtveit Røse, Harry Valderhaug, and Hans Edvard Askjer—have proposed a plan to tackle homelessness among families with children. The proposers argue that homelessness is a growing social problem that disproportionately affects children, driven by structural factors including tight rental markets and a shortage of municipal housing. They are calling on the government to develop a national action plan with concrete measures, an overview of municipal spending on temporary housing, better coordination between support services, and improvements to housing assistance programs.
