Committee examines measures to combat organized fraud
Four MPs—Stian Storbukås, Finn Krokeide, Anette Carnarius Elseth, and Jon Engen-Helgheim—have tabled eight proposals to strengthen the fight against organized fraud and register crime. The proposers argue that criminal networks exploit weaknesses in public registers and welfare schemes, and that necessary action is not being taken quickly enough. The Standing Committee on Justice reviewed the proposals and held differing views on them.
