About this bill
Cutting red tape becomes a priority in government guidance on policy assessments
MPs Siv Sætran and Erling Sande propose updating the instructions that govern how government agencies conduct policy assessments. The proposers argue that reducing red tape and simplifying rules should be treated as independent policy objectives in this work, and that small and medium-sized businesses are neither adequately consulted nor have the consequences for them properly evaluated.
