Raise mandatory occupational pension contributions from two to four percent
MPs Marian Hussein and Ingrid Fiskaa propose increasing the contribution rate for mandatory occupational pensions (OTP) to at least four percent. The proposers argue that around 600,000 workers currently receive only the legally required minimum rate of two percent, and that an increase would particularly benefit low-wage workers and reduce pension disparities across sectors.
