Three Storting MPs—Marie Sneve Martinussen, Hanne Beate Stenvaag, and Seher Aydar—have introduced a proposal to reduce working hours for shift workers. The proposers argue that shift work, especially three-shift rotations with short rest periods between shifts, poses serious health risks including sleep disorders, high blood pressure, and mental exhaustion.
