MPs call for halt to loosening of pilotage requirements
Five MPs have introduced a proposal to stop work on liberalizing the pilot exemption scheme. The proposers argue that liberalization could reduce the state's presence and control in Norwegian waters, and that any changes must be based on a comprehensive risk and security analysis before implementation.
