Committee divided on grid tariff equalization, rejects original proposal
MP Lars Haltbrekken (Socialist Left Party) proposed a study of a fair, user-financed equalization scheme for grid tariffs. The Standing Committee on Energy and the Environment does not recommend adopting the original proposal, but members from several parties have submitted alternative proposals with different approaches to addressing geographic disparities in grid tariffs.
