Education Committee urges government to explore modular learning and engage municipalities
MPs Guri Melby, Abid Raja, and Grunde Almeland tabled proposals to ensure completion and quality in upper secondary education. The Standing Committee on Education and Research recommends the Storting adopt two proposals: that the government enter into dialogue with municipalities and county authorities on how to support students who do not qualify for general university entrance qualification, vocational certificates, or apprenticeship schemes; and that the government investigate how pilot programmes using modular organisation in upper secondary education could be implemented.
