Storting asked to direct immigration authorities to revise revocation practices
Eight MPs from multiple parties have proposed changes to how citizenship and residence permits are revoked. The proposers argue that current practice is too strict and are calling on the government to instruct the immigration authorities to raise the threshold for opening revocation cases, halt ongoing cases, and enshrine time limits and proportionality assessments in law.
