About this bill
Storting rejects proposal to scrap vehicle emissions standards
Nine MPs put forward a proposal to eliminate climate requirements for vehicles to strengthen national emergency preparedness. The majority of the Standing Committee on Transport and Communications rejected the main proposals. Members from the Centre Party, Conservative Party, and Green Party instead submitted alternative proposals that aim to integrate preparedness considerations into transport sector electrification.
