Storting establishes inquiry commission on Epstein documents
The Standing Committee on Scrutiny and Constitutional Affairs proposes establishing an independent inquiry commission to investigate matters raised by the release of American documents about Jeffrey Epstein in January 2026. The commission would clarify facts relating to connections between the Epstein network and Norwegian government officials, consequences for Norwegian interests, foreign policy campaigns, and culture and practice within the foreign service.
