Committee rejects proposal for funding wind power applications
MP Hilde Marie Gaebpie Danielsen proposed that the government amend the law to ensure economic support for processing wind power applications on equal terms with hydropower. The majority of the Standing Committee on Energy and the Environment (Labour Party, Progress Party, Conservative Party, and Centre Party) recommended that the Storting reject the proposal, while the minority (Socialist Left Party, Red Party, Green Party, and Liberal Party) resubmitted it.
