Labour Committee rejects Nav restructuring proposal
MPs Kjersti Toppe, Bjørn Arild Gram, and Erling Sande proposed splitting the National Labour and Welfare Administration (Nav) into a pensions and social insurance agency and a separate employment and activation agency, along with a trust reform granting decision-making authority to local Nav offices. The Standing Committee on Labour and Social Affairs reviewed the proposal and concluded it should not be adopted.
