Parliament rejects proposal for E39 highway extension
Six MPs from the Labour Party, Conservative Party, Centre Party, Red Party, and Green Party proposed that the government present a plan for building the E39 highway section between Solavågseidet and Moa, including financing details. The transport and communications committee members recommending rejection argue the project is not prioritized in the National Transport Plan 2025–2036 and should be considered in the next plan revision.
