Energy Committee weighs three proposals on Melkøya and shelf electrification
The Standing Committee on Energy and Environment is considering private member's bills from several MPs calling for a halt to electrification of the Melkøya facility and other petroleum installations. The proposers offer alternative solutions including gas power with carbon capture, floating offshore wind, and reallocation of power.
