Standing Committee on Business and Industry presents 2026 budget recommendation
The Standing Committee on Business and Industry has presented its recommendation to the Storting on appropriations for the 2026 state budget covering the Ministry of Trade, Fisheries and Seafood, the Ministry of Climate and Environment, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The committee is reviewing the government's October 2025 proposal across budget framework areas 9, 10, and 11. A majority of the committee—comprising members from the Labour Party, Socialist Left Party, Centre Party, Red Party, and Green Party—reached a budget agreement on 3 December 2025.
