The Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence has submitted its recommendation to the Storting on budget allocations for 2026 in foreign affairs (framework area 4) and defence (framework area 8). The committee proposes spending of 57.2 billion kroner for foreign affairs and 165.8 billion kroner for defence, based on the government's budget proposal and approved framework areas.
