Rental Disputes Board to join State Housing Bank with academic independence
The Standing Committee on Municipal and General Administration recommends amending the Rental Act to allow the Rental Disputes Board to operate as a unit within the State Housing Bank. The committee says this should help reduce case processing times, but MPs from the Socialist Left Party and Red Party question whether reorganisation without additional resources is adequate, and urge the government to evaluate earlier regulatory changes.
