Committee rejects VTA proposal but offers alternatives
The Standing Committee on Labour and Social Affairs considered a private member's bill from MPs Anna Molberg, Amalie Gunnufsen, Margret Hagerup and Aleksander Stokkebø to allow workers in permanent work adjustment arrangements (VTA) to continue working after age 67. Members from the Labour Party, Progress Party, Socialist Left Party and Red Party recommend rejecting the original proposal, while members from various parties have submitted alternative proposals with different conditions and approaches.
