Innsyn (innsyn.bileon.io) is an independent, bilingual platform that makes the Norwegian parliament legible: every member, every bill, every vote, with AI-generated plain-language summaries in Norwegian and English. Built on the Storting's open data, politically neutral, and free of advertising, Innsyn serves the more than one million residents of Norway who read English more easily than Norwegian — and everyone else who wants to know what their parliament is doing. The name means “insight” in both Norwegian and Icelandic.

Fast facts

An independent project by Bileon, Norway. Data source: Stortinget open data API (NLOD licence), supplemented by committee and cabinet information from official websites. Summaries are AI-generated and automatically checked against the source document; summaries the check flags are hidden until a human has reviewed them, the rest are published without individual human review. Each carries a public provenance note. No advertising, no political funding.
